Herb or Weed: A meal of wild herbs

Many wild herbs are the ancestors of today's cultivated plants. You can still give the food the right flavor today. Children learn how to find wild herbs, identify them, and turn them into a tasty meal. On a short hike through the museum grounds, the group collects "weeds" that are easy to find everywhere. The herbalist also imparts botanical knowledge. In the cottage garden at the Togrund farm, kitchen herbs are tried and compared with wild herbs. The children then process the wild herbs into a delicious quark and eat it on hearty bread.
