Lifestyle - The world of images by Valentin Altmann

The Westerwald photo artist Valentin Altmann (1891-1967) from Niederelbert left a legacy of 2500 photos, which is unique in this breadth and diversity for the region.

The exhibition shows portrait photographs, photos of working and village life, leisure activities and traffic development. Altmann's photos offer a cultural history in an attractive visual language of exceptional authenticity from the era before and after 1920.
