Bee on a thistle

On the meadow orchard: wild bees and co.

In addition to the production of fruit, the meadow orchard is also important as a species-rich and ecologically valuable habitat for many animal and plant species. The project manager explains the system and the benefits of the meadow orchard (underuse, fruit growing, maintenance, biodiversity). The children get to know the animals, trees and plants of the meadow in a playful way. The group is then divided: in group 1, each child builds an insect nesting aid, while group 2 goes on a journey of discovery through the "Bergisches Land".
