On this day everything revolves around wool and its processing in the Niederrhein building group. The museum sheep are shorn. You can observe the shearing according to old and modern methods and also learn how sheep are treated against lice, ticks and worms. You can take part in the further processing yourself. The wool is combed with the card, then spun with the hand spindle or the spinning wheel and finally dyed with colors from nature. Children also have the opportunity to felt balls.
