Washboard and tamper: The big wash

Washing clothes used to be the most laborious and time-consuming job in the household. The children experience this through their own activities with brushes, tubs, washboards and tampers. The individual washing steps are explained. The group is then divided: Group 1 explores the Lower Rhine assembly group on the journey of discovery. Group 2a washes with the project manager, group 2b kneads soap or makes scented sachets with the companion. The groups then switch. Finally, everyone cleans up together.
