Beams and Bars: Build a half-timbered house

The buildings in the museum show the house and courtyard shapes of the Rhineland. The children discover constructions, building materials and building materials of the regional half-timbered buildings and compare living in the past and today. After walking through the grounds together, the group will be divided. Group 1 builds the half-timbered model in the Lower Rhine assembly group. When everything is ready, they celebrate the topping-out ceremony. Group 2 can explore the Eifel building group on the “Building and Living” discovery tour. After halftime the groups switch.
