ZeitBlende 1973 – The museum festival of memories

On the weekend of August 19 and 20, the traditional event “ZeitBlende 1973” reminds us of what happened fifty years ago.
We are expecting more than two hundred classic cars that were on the streets in 1973. In the afternoon, the old treasures will drive through the museum grounds in a parade. The historic campsite, which is becoming more diverse from year to year, will also be back.
An extensive program with hands-on activities for young and old guests also provides memories of lifestyle, living conditions and events. This year, among other things, a Bobby Car course awaits the children. A special highlight is an original Cessna F150L, in which children can even take a seat in the pilot's seat. Then they can make their own planes
Everyday life and the events of 1973 are remembered with an exhibition of eyewitnesses and a "history trail".
There will also be musical celebrations, with live music by the Power/Up AC/DC Tribute Band.
The gastronomic offer corresponds to the taste of the time. What was on the menu back then is served, e.g. Muckefuck or wrong rabbit.
