Photo/and film recordings for private use
You will encounter subjects for photographic and video recordings all over the grounds. Naturally, you are welcome to photograph or film them, but only for private purposes to remember your visit (in the interiors or exhibitions without flash or tripod). The commercial use or publication of such images is not permitted. Posting photos and films in a private, or non-commercial homepage, or in film forums like Youtube, is an act of publication. Please contact us - also for the protection of possible third parties’ rights - for our permission to release images for publication.
The following are expressly not permitted:
- Recordings in the interiors of the historical buildings with flash/artificial light and/or tripod
- Recordings in exhibitions
- Recordings from areas of the museum grounds which are sign-posted and/or fenced off as off-limits to visitors
- Recordings of performances which take place during events in the interiors.

Any violation of rights (copyright, exploitation and domiciliary rights, the right to one’s own image and the image of owned property, etc.) will be pursued by legal action.
